Awards and prizes

„Kryształy Soli”

Our association was announced semi finalists in 2006 and 2007 contest organised by the Marshal of Malopolskie Voivodship named “Krysztaly Soli”. Only the best public benefit organisations were awarded. "Dać Szansę" was one of them!
The authorities recognised our overall help and support provided to people living in Wadowice and our impact on the development of malopolska society. In 2008, similarly to previous year, our association was awarded Krysztaly Soli again. Our overall activities involved:
- Overcoming social barriers and stereotypes
- Promoting employment among disabled people
Complex and consistent program aiming at helping disabled children and their parents based on early intervention, new forms of therapy, special education, psychological support provided to children and their parents.


„Warto być za!”

Apart from Krysztaly Soli award, the organisation also succeeded in 2008 and 2010 in a competition organised by Kompania Piwowarska. The first award amounted 100 000 zl helped us to complete one of our most important projects “You are not alone!”
In 2010 in the Fifth Edition of the same competition, the money awarded helped us to equip Experiences of the World Room and organise first classes in our own “snoezelen room”.
